Following are some important news information from DirectXtras:

I. DirectXtras and Director MX compatibility.

We're pleased to announce that all our Xtras are fully compatible
with the newly released Director MX.


II. DirectXtras and MacOS X compatibility.

Native MacOS X compatible versions of the following Xtras are
currently available:

DirectEmail Xtra
DirectFTP Xtra
DirectImage Xtra
DirectOS Xtra
DirectSMS Xtra
DirectTransition3D Xtra Set I
DirectTransition3D Xtra Set II

We're currently in the process of porting our other Xtras to
MacOS X and shall keep you informed of future developments.


III. Auto downloadable Shockwave safe packages are now included in all
licenses at no additional cost.

In an effort to make the auto downloadable Shockwave safe packages of
our Xtras more affordable, we're pleased to announce the following
licensing policy change:


Previously, the auto downloadable Shockwave safe packages as well as
a license to freely distribute them from web servers were only included
in Site and Corporate licenses.


As of 1/1/2003, all licenses now include the auto downloadable Shockwave
safe packages at no additional cost and allow registered users to freely
distribute them from their web server(s).


Auto downloadable Shockwave safe packages are currently available for
the following Xtras:


DirectControl Xtra
DirectEmail Xtra
DirectFTP Xtra
DirectImage Xtra
DirectSMS Xtra
DirectTransition Xtra
DirectTransition3D Xtra Set I
DirectTransition3D Xtra Set II
DirectTTS Xtra
XtrAgent


The Shockwave safe packages are available free of charge to all
registered users upon request.


IV. New minor revisions of DirectOS, DirectImage and DirectEmail Xtras.

We've recently released minor revisions of the following Xtras:


DirectOS Xtra - current version is 3.5.1.
DirectImage Xtra - current version is 3.0.2.
DirectEmail Xtra- current version is 2.1.1.

The upgrade is available free of charge to registered users.
A list of new features and enhancements can be found in the History
section of the Xtras on-line documentation.


V. Fully automated licensing form is now in place.

We're pleased to announce the completion of a fully automated
licensing form. On-line credit card orders are now processed
automatically, usually within an hour of order placement.



VI. Special discounted bundles.

For a limited time we're offering several discounted bundles. These
bundles include two or three of our Xtras at a special discount off
the combined price of the included Xtras, when licensed separately.
